Hillpointe Launches Hillpointe Helps To Assist Charitable Organizations To Meet The Needs Of Local Communities

JANUARY 29, 2024  – Winter Park, FL – Hillpointe, LLC, one of the nation’s Top 25 Developers and Builders of attainable workforce multifamily housing, recently formed Hillpointe Helps, to focus on providing a variety of assistance to charitable organizations where Hillpointe builds and manages multifamily communities.

Hillpointe Helps was launched in October 2023 at the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in Orlando where the company galvanized a large group of walkers and donors and successfully raised over $18,000 for the American Cancer Society.

In December, Hillpointe Helps teamed up with University of Georgia tight-end Brock Bowers and NOBULL to provide local kids from the Youth Development Initiative with Christmas gifts. Hillpointe’s contribution covered the cost of a bag of gifts handpicked by Brock. The kids also received a pair of shoes provided by NOBULL. The gifts were shared at an event held on December 19th at Burney-Harrison-Lyons Middle School in Athens, GA.

Hillpointe Helps also joined with The Boys and Girls Club of Athens to host 24 children and six chaperones in their corporate suite to attend the Atlanta Falcons vs the Indianapolis Colts on December 24th. The children also received Christmas gifts of sports gear, shoes, and other items.

In early January, Hillpointe Helps launched a partnership with Move for Hunger, a national organization devoted to collecting non-perishable food items that residents moving out of apartments might leave behind. Move for Hunger partners with over 1200 moving companies to educate their customers about hunger and food waste in their communities and encourage their customers to set aside any unopened, non-perishable food items that they don’t want to take with them.

On moving day, Move for Hunger’s partners pack up their donations and deliver them to the local food bank or pantry, free of charge. Hillpointe Helps is kicking off its partnership with Move for Hunger on February 1st with the Spread the Love Food Drive. Hillpointe communities will be collecting peanut butter and jelly to fight childhood hunger from February 1 – 14, 2024.
