NETWORK OPERATIONS TECHNICIAN

Location
Athens, Georgia

Job Description

Must have knowledge and practical understanding of network concepts such as LAN, WAN, Layer 2/Layer 3 communication, VLANS, ARP, DHCP, DNS, route maps, etc. required to understand and troubleshoot networks.

Some understanding of Fiber and Copper cabling.

Experience working with Fortinet, Ruckus and Avaya/Ubiquity systems a plus

2+ years of experience in related field

Work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Valid Driver’s License from state of residency.

Lift and move up-to 50 lbs

At times work in small, confined spaces

Be available for overtime, emergency callouts and holiday work

Identify wire and cable colors

Qualify on pre-employment assessments

Have a High School Diploma or GED

Up to 15-20% of travel required
