HILLPOINTE DONATES THE EXECUTIVE INN LOCATED IN PERRY, GEORGIA TO GENESIS JOY HOUSE TO SUPPORT HOUSING FOR HOMELESS FEMALE VETERANS

Hillpointe and Housing and Workforce Collective Solutions (HAWCS), its non-profit (501c3) organization dedicated to tackling the issue of affordable housing, recently announced the donation of the 49-room Executive Inn located at 400 General Courtney Hodges Blvd, Perry, GA to the Genesis Joy House to support the non-profit’s mission to provide housing for homeless female veterans.

As one of the nation’s leading developers and builders of attainable workforce housing multifamily communities, Hillpointe has been a championing providing solutions to the affordable workforce housing crisis facing the country. Through this donation, Hillpointe and HAWCS are supporting the effort to provide homeless female veterans in the Central Georgia region with the housing they urgently need.
Due to the shortage of affordable workforce housing in the region, Hillpointe purchased the hotel to provide housing for their construction workers during the development of Pointe Grand Macon, Pointe Grand Byron, and Pointe Grand Warner Robins. These communities have been open since 2023 and provide 888 attainable workforce housing units for the region, with rents ranging from $1,329 to $1,524.
Genesis Joy House became the owner of the motel on May 15, 2025, and The proceeds from the sale will directly support their mission to serve homeless female veterans and their children by expanding their transitional housing program, mental health services, job training, and comprehensive support systems.
