Hillpointe Promotes Jamie Telchin to Managing Director, Multifamily Development

Hillpointe, one of the largest and fastest-growing developers and operators of attainable multifamily housing in the United States, today announced the promotion of Jamie Telchin from Vice President of Development, Florida, to Managing Director, Multifamily Development. In his new role, Jamie will lead nationwide land acquisition and development for all Hillpointe Pointe Grand apartment communities and Pointe Villas built-to-rent (BTR) communities.

With more than 25 years of experience in real estate development and redevelopment across multiple commercial sectors, Jamie brings a proven track record of success. In his new capacity, he will oversee the strategic growth of Hillpointe’s acquisition and development pipelines across the Sun Belt region.

Jamie is a highly accomplished, results-driven senior executive and holds an MBA from the University of Colorado at Denver. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and has served on its national and regional product councils since 2008. Jamie also served as the Chair of the Multi-Family Development Council for Florida and the Caribbean from 2018-2020.  He currently serves as an advisory board member for the University of Florida, Warrington College of Business-Bergstrom Real Estate Center.
